Lillie Louise Davis Kellum, 69, of Jacksonville, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, November 12th, at her home, surrounded by loved ones. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Louise Davis, and 2 brothers, Jerry Ray Davis and David Davis.
Lillie is survived by her husband of 51 years, Wilson "Larry" Kellum, of the home, 3 children, Sheila Kellum Wetherington, and husband Ricky of Springfield, TN, Larry Wayne Kellum and Kenneth Larry Kellum and wife, Jennifer, all of Jacksonville. There are also 5 granddaughters who loved their "Nanny". Michelle Wetherington, of Springfield, TN, Stephanie Wetherington Jungman and husband Jeremy, of Antioch, TN, Megan and Miranda Kellum of Maysville, and Kendall Kellum of Jacksonville.
In addition to her immediate family, Lillie was the oldest of 9 children, and she was very close to her siblings. They were Betty Brown (Alvin), Thomas Davis (Tammy), Donald Davis (Janet) all of Jacksonville, Mary Frances Blick (Joseph) of Greenville, Juanita Bean (Clifford) and Wilbur Davis, Jr, both of Maysville.
There were also many nieces and nephews that will miss their Aunt "Monkey".
Visitation is planned for Friday, November 14, 2014 from 6-8 pm, with funeral services at 11am, Saturday November 15, 2014 both at Grants Creek Baptist Church in Maysville with William Ray Davis Jr presiding. The family will receive guests other times at 540 Sonoma Rd, Jacksonville.
The family would like to thank Lower Cape Fear Hospice for their incredible service over the last 2 weeks. They also wish to express tremendous gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from all family and friends during this time.
